The Feb. 20 death of 27-year-old camera assistant Sarah Jones on the set of Midnight Rider outside Doctortown, Ga., spread grief and anger through Hollywood.
This is not only unbelievable, but also completely unacceptable. I feel sick to my stomach reading this, and I am shocked that something like this was even allowed to happen. There is no shot, scene, or production on this earth that is worth putting the lives of your cast and crew in danger. Absolutely none. There is no excuse for something like this to happen, and it makes me angry that any directors or producers would so haphazardly organize something like this and NOT think that things might end so badly. I sincerely hope they pay for this, because this is practically murder.
My heart is broken for Sarah’s family and friends, and for all of the hardworking cast and crew that were put into this awful situation and had to go through that ordeal. I hope they know the entire film community is behind them.
